Fort Myers, Fla. (February 18, 2003)---Increased market demand for
CallTech Communications, LLC's web-based customer service support is
driving an expansion at the company's Fort Myers facility.
One of Lee County's largest private employers, CallTech is currently
increasing its workforce of 230 employees by 25%, some 50-75 employees.
Projected needs from customers could increase that count by an
additional 200 employees within the next year.
Unprecedented, nonstop growth continues to position CallTech as a leader
in web-based customer service product offerings. Since its founding in
1996, CallTech continues to add an impressive array of clients to its
already diverse portfolio which includes, BellSouth, computer storage
provider Iomega, Dirt Devil Entertainment, Universal Studios and
Priceline.com.
"People often confuse our company with telemarketing, but we're actually
at the opposite end of the spectrum," said Brad Keckler, Center Manager
for CallTech's Fort Myers facility. "We are an in-bound contact center,
providing support to various corporate clients."
CallTech is an in-bound contact center providing a variety of services
including:
- Customer service and technical support
- Information request, reservations and transactions
- Membership sign-up and enrollment for various associations and services
- Third-party verification for telephone and utility services
- Sales for various goods and services
- Cancellation "rescue" services attempting to keep customers
- E-mail response, staffed and/or automated
- Real-time customer service-technical support instant messaging

CallTech will host an on-site job fair on Saturday, February 22 from 10
a.m. until 2:00p.m. at the Fort Myers Customer Contact Center located at
2159 Colonial Boulevard, Unit D. Individuals interested in working

CallTech opened its 25,000-square-foot Fort Myers facility in January
2001. It was initially designed to house some 500 employees. Current
projections have the company reaching that capacity within the next 12
months.
