Fort Myers, FL - CallTech Communications, LLC announced today that it
will open its newest call center in Fort Myers, Florida, beginning
January 15. The Columbus, Ohio-based call center provider has expanded
its presence to the Fort Myers area in order to provide customer care
and support for a number of clients, including the Internet Division of
BellSouth. CallTech's Fort Myers call center will offer its clients
customer service capabilities via phone, fax, e-mail and click-to-chat.
Fueled by nonstop growth since its founding in 1996, the expansion also
increases CallTech's geographic diversity and boosts its
redundancy-based security. CallTech already operates call centers in
Columbus, Ohio and Brownsville, Pennsylvania.
"Fort Myers was chosen as the site for our expansion because the area
offers a vast labor pool, giving CallTech customers access to skilled
customer care and support workers," said C.J. Petitti, CallTech
co-founder and chief executive officer. "CallTech also offers its
customers bi-lingual customer service capabilities, which will be
facilitated by the diversity of the Fort Myers area labor force."
The 25,000-square-foot Fort Myers facility will house 425 seats.
Initially, CallTech will hire some 100 operators to provide customer
service and support, with employment at the center eventually growing to
an estimated 500 positions. CallTech worked closely with the Lee County
(Florida) Economic Development Organization to identify the ideal site
for the call center.
